"I never expected to find such authentic Chinese street food here in Edinburgh!! The ingredients and cooking methods stay true to tradition, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It really takes me back to those days spent grabbing food with friends after school"

"We (myself and my teenage daughter) discovered this gem by accident - walking back to the car on Friday 13th (you can imagine how our day was going) looking to grab something quick to warm ourselves up. We decided to get wanton soup and a pancake - the best decision we could've made that day!! Place was quiet and clean, we got sitted straight away and menu was explained to us with recommendations, which did NOT disappoint. It's worth noting that everything is made fresh to order. We ended up getting an extra pancake to go too - they're just that good!"

"The first Asian place I approve of in Edinburgh. The seaweed soup (daily special) was properly savoury, with strong aroma from seaweed and restaurant quality shredded egg. Pork belly was tender and well spiced, as an add on in the grilled noodle. Grilled noodle itself was fine, spicy sauce was very mild in heat Bun was authentic as well, the juicy pork filling was properly done As a Chinese, Id say look no further than this place for proper Chinese street food, a gem in the food scene of Edinburgh with most restaurants being hardly authentic or having all form and no substance Update:meat bun was mushy, not good. Red date soya milk was very thin as well, not good either"

"Absolutely excellent little restaurant serving Tianjin-style street food dishes. Popped in a couple of times last week, once for takeaway, once to sit in, and the staff are lovely. The jian bing are superb - better than I managed to find in Shanghai - and the rou jia mo are delicious too. Will be back to try the grilled cold noodles."

"Cute little place with delicious jianbing and grilled cold noodles. Bring back so many memories of being back in China! Highly recommend! They also have multiple types of batter for the jianbing!"

"If you love jianbing (Chinese pancakes), this is your place. I lived in China for many years, and this restaurant brought back so many memories. They have different styles of jianbing, and the boss (from Tianjin) will make them how you like. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the food was delicious. I’m so happy to have this restaurant in Edinburgh. I can’t wait to go back to try their other food."

"If you’re looking to fuel up & rehydrate after hiking Arthur’s Seat, this is the place. Best dinner I’ve had in Edi this trip. The wonton soup is incredibly tasty & fresh. The salad pancake was new to me & delicious.Portions are generous. Ice cream cone is the cutest thing as is this clean, festive shop. Try it- you’ll love it!"

"So yummy that we returned here while visiting the city for the second time even though it meant taking an extra bus! Really friendly homely atmosphere where the pancake wraps will be made in front of you. Mix of Chinese staff and Scottish who will help you understand the menu and order. The soup bowl is enormous, as another reviewer mentioned! It feels good to support this small family run business instead of a massive chain restaurant Give it a try and you will become a loyal customer"
